KROSS BARZ

The Beginning of A Legacy with Curtis Hudson

Big OH! & J. Tanae'

On this episode of KROSS BARZ Big OH! and J. Tanae' go back to Louisiana humble beginnings with Mr. Curtis Hudson.  Curtis Hudson was a member of the 80's bands Pure Energy and Hot Streak.  While a member of the band Hot Streak, he produced the song "Body Work" in 1983 and by 1984 the song had secured a spot on the original soundtrack for the iconic movie "Breakin'".  Curtis also co-wrote with Lisa Stevens, the hit song "Holiday" for Madonna, (which was originally meant for their group Pure Energy).  Alongside his brother, they formed the Hudson Group. Hudson is also the proud father of Eric Hudson, the three time Grammy Award winning producer/musician, who has worked with artists such as Kanye West, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, and Mary J. Blige to name a few.
